Every piece of jewellery has a story. Most of those stories begin and end with the people who wear it. This one begins somewhere quite different - with a woman called Susan, a vision she never got to see completed, and a ring that is still waiting to find its person.
Susan's Vision
In 2020, Susan Jamieson came to us with an idea. A passionate horse lover and business owner, Susan wanted to create a bespoke jewellery collection that celebrated horses - made ethically and responsibly, with a portion of the proceeds going to a horse charity.
It was not a vague idea. Susan had the kind of conviction that comes from spending a lifetime devoted to something. She had spent years raising money for horses in need, and even during the height of the pandemic - when most of us could barely leave the house - she was on the airwaves hosting a radio show dedicated to horses. Advocacy was not something she did alongside her life. It was her life.
The vision for the collection was specific and beautiful. Pieces that honoured the animal she loved. Made with the same ethics and care she brought to everything. Proceeds supporting horses that needed help.
What Happened
Before the full collection could be brought to life, Susan passed away very suddenly from cancer.
It was a devastating loss - for her family, for her friends, and for the horse community she had given so much of herself to. We were deeply saddened.
But one piece of the collection had already been made. Susan had seen it. It was her favourite.
The Pippa
The Pippa is a sculpted horse head ring in 9k gold, set with 0.50ct of graduated E VVS lab grown diamonds that flow along the mane and tail like a cascade of light. It was designed and handcrafted entirely in Cornwall, from start to finish, by hand.
The form is everything. The horse head is sculpted in profile, capturing movement and character in every curve. The diamond mane creates a fountain of sparkle that catches light from every angle. It is bold enough to be unmistakably a statement piece, and considered enough to feel like something that was made with genuine care and intention - because it was.
